Tim Forcade Photographic Images
Fine Art Photographic Images for exhibition and sale.
Tim Forcade has over 30 years experience as a photographer, painter, and designer with much of that time devoted to the study and application of art and technology. He has combined his fine arts education in painting with research in photography, electronics and computer graphics resulting in numerous exhibitions, published articles, images, books and interactive works.
Tim Forcade's work is currently at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in a solo exhibit titled "Discovered in Light". The exhibit fills the main gallery with 20 large format pigment prints on satin and paper. These images take their form from the essential properties of light rather than the objects themselves. Forcade's photographic process is similar to jazz improvisation where unique musical phrasing is created around a source melody. These are photographic compositions in object-affected light.
"My photographs begin with objects chosen to affect light
rather than being delineated by it. I am fascinated by the light itself,
when objects recede and light takes over".
